New agricultural building

Planning-Blog-1-2

 Lake District National Park

PFK Planning supported our client with an application that sought approval for a new agricultural building measuring 207.4sqm, for the storage of farm implements and feed. The application was made under Part 6, Class A of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 2015 and submitted to the Lake District National Park for approval.

The purpose of this application was to reduce the number trips back and forth to the main farm and a more central position within the holding for the storage of implements and feed in the short term. In the longer term this will provide the new shed for this parcel of land, replacing a shed in the adjoining field which has suffered significant flood damage and is therefore not fully usable any more.

The Lake District National Park Authority concluded that the proposed development was acceptable and approved the application in July 2017.
