PFK are pleased to have been granted detailed planning approval to develop their own land at Mile Lane for their new Head Office facility.
Andrew Green, Managing Director, confirmed "We are delighted to have worked closely with the newly formed planning department at Westmorland and Furness Council in achieving a great result that will enable us to invest again in our local area and economy. PFK is 150 years old in 2026 and is proud to employ local people advising a raft of clients across our Rural and Estate Agency departments. This will allow us to continue to support our local farmers by vacating substantial space at the auction mart which has allowed us to continue to develop Skirsgill as a significant agricultural hub in partnership with David Crowden, Andrew Maughan and all the team at Penrith and District Farmers' Mart (PDFM). The development of the fully owned site perfectly aligns with our long-term strategy and will significantly enhance shareholder value moving forward.
PFK understand the importance of support for our highly valued farmer client base, and we continue to provide this important function at our Skirsgill office in the Auction Mart through Rural Director Jo Edwards, as well as our office at Edenhall through Directors John Robson, Julie Liddle and the whole of the team.
Andrew Green also reports that "PFK Estate Agency have been awarded Gold in the EA Masters Best Estate Agency guide 2024 for Sales and Lettings and have also received a nomination for Regional Agency of the Year: North East & North West in The Negotiator Awards".
