Stamp Duty Holiday Extended

Properties up to £500,000 will benefit with stamp duty holiday being extended until 30th June and then from 1st July until end of September stamp duty holiday will only continue on properties up to £250,000. On 1st October 2021 we will revert to pre covid stamp duty thresholds. Whilst the level of saving will reduce July - September, the average saving of £2,500 will still benefit certain buyers.

In other news, the Chancellor also confirmed the government will incentivise lenders to provide mortgages to first-time buyers with just 5% deposits.
