A66 Dualling Project

The public consultation for the £1 billion A66 Penrith to Scotch Corner dualling project was launched this week. The consultation, which runs until Thursday 11th July, aims to hear the views of locals before the preferred route is announced in 2020.

If you think you will be affected, it is important to attend these consultation events and get your views heard as soon as possible.

Locals can view the proposals at the following events over the next month:
◾Friday 17 May, 11am to 7pm and Saturday 18 May, 10am to 2pm Penrith Rugby Club, Winters Park, Carleton Hall Gardens, Penrith, CA11 8RQ
◾Wednesday 29 May 11am to 7pm, Thursday 30 May 10am to 3pm, Friday 31 May 11am to 7pm and Saturday 1 June 2019 10am to 2pm The Appleby Hub, Chapel Street, Appleby, CA16 6QR
◾Tuesday 4 June 11am to 7pm, Wednesday 5 June 10am to 2pm and Thursday 6 June 10am to 2pm Penrith Parish Centre, St Andrews Place, Penrith CA11 7XX
◾Monday 17 June 10am to 2pm and Tuesday 18 June 11am to 7pm Penrith Parish Centre, St Andrews Place, Penrith CA11 7XX
